The second annual Danny Mac 5k Run and Family Fun Walk will be held on Saturday April 16. Registration for the event begins at 8 a.m. at 3211 Knights Road and is $25 for those who wish to participate in the 5k run and $10 for the walk. All proceeds benefit the Daniel McIntosh Scholarship Fund.

The event is held in commemoration of Bensalem emergency medical services paramedic Daniel "Danny Mac" McIntosh who died last March. McIntosh, a thirteen-year veteran of Bensalem EMS, suffered a major heart attack after responding to a distress call and died later at Aria Health's Torresdale campus at Red Lion and Knight's Road. He was 39 years old.
