Car Fire Extinguished by Bensalem Fire Department
Bensalem Fire Rescue were at the scene of a car fire on Old Lincoln Highway.
A car caught fire as a result of a traffic accident Thursday morning, according to the fire department.
"One vehicle caught fire after the accident," Battalion Chief Robert Sponheimer said.
He said that Bensalem Fire Rescue responded and extinguished the fire. Since the fire was a result of a traffic accident, he said the Bensalem Police Department will be investigating.
The fire department posted a photo on Twitter of a firefighter extinguishing the flames of a car fire that took place on Old Lincoln Highway. The photo was posted around 9:30 a.m.

Thanks for the comment, Susan. I'm still waiting on details from that accident... and I wasn't at the scene so I don't have any photos to post. I hope to have something up later today.
