Celebrate Bensalem Pride at Fall Festival Saturday

Music, food and other festivities await Bensalem resident at the township’s Fall Festival on Saturday.

Bensalem Township will show its community pride at the annual Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 6.

The festival, held at the township’s TD Bank Amphitheater and Central Park at the municipal complex, will run from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Everyone is invited.

The event features entertainment all day, numerous food vendors and scores of informational tables by local businesses and civic groups.

Some of the featured events include music by Steve Pullara & the Cool Beans Band, the Bensalem High School Marching Band, Funk Evolution and the Average White Band; amusements and video games for the kids; a special guest appearance by former Phillies player and manager Larry Bowa; performances by the Bensalem K9 and Motor Patrol units; and a fireworks show by Zambelli. For a complete list of the day’s events, click on the attached PDF document.

The Fall Festival was originally called Pride Day. It was first held in 1992 as part of the township’s tricentennial celebration. It's an annual event that's fun for the entire family. Check out the attached video for scenes from the Fall Festival through the years.

Bensalem Patch will be there taking pictures and having fun. We will also feature an article tomorrow where you can share your photos, videos and thoughts from the Fall Festival.
