Falls Child Molester Sentenced to 494 Years

A Falls Township tattoo artist was sentenced to 494 years in prison after being found guilty of 170 sex-related charges.

A Falls Township man was sentenced to 494.5 to 989 years in prison Thursday for sexually assaulting more than a dozen children.

Judge Diane Gibbons found 36-year-old Walter Meyerle guilty of 170 sex-related charges in back in August 2012, Action News reported.

According to Phillyburbs, Meyerle's victims each asked the judge Thursday to give the serial child predator the sentence he deserved.

"I can't give him what he deserves,” Gibbons said. “He deserves to know what it's like to be a child and feel fear. To be a child and feel pain and humiliation."

Judge Gibbons gave Meyerle the maximum allowed by law on most of the 170 charges he faced and delivered it in increments, naming each victim and described in detail what Meyerle did to that child.

Patch previously reported the tattoo artist was arrested in Bristol after a police investigation revealed he traded a tattoo for sex with a 15-year-old girl in 2011. Over the coming weeks and months, more victims—one as young as 4—came forward to police.

The molestations took place in Bensalem, Bristol Borough, Bristol Township and Falls.

Excuse me, I didn't say he was justified, just stating a fact. So, get your story straight.
And if you knew the first thing about criminal psychology, you would have been able to grasp my previous comment. Obviously, your not in the field.

Calling this thing a piece of shit is three steps up. I only hope they place him in general population and give the guards the day off. I am the proud father of two girls. Only for school did they leave long enough for harm to find them. Hug your child today, tell them you love them, and try real hard not to let go. And my GOD help the SOB that tries to harm them.

Heidi:
I am truly saddened by what happened to you, and am glad you were able to move on. Others cannot do it themselves, and need the help of therapists who are out there to help wounded hearts, (Like the ones this miserable excuse for a human being damaged,) repair the damage Meyerle caused. While these poor individuals will never get that part of their lives back, they can know that justice was (However long it was delayed) has FINALLY been accomplished.

The damage done does not go away. Sometimes, under the right circumstance, it is softened a little bit. Lots of therapy, lots of love, lots of stability and lots of prayer, are all part of the healing process. My niece was the youngest victim, hurt at the age of 4. Nothing can ever, ever make up for that. NOTHING. EVER.
But our loving father in heaven, Jehovah God saw fit to put her in a safe place afterwards and manipulated things so that this monster was arrested, and then investigated by the best detectives and prosecuted by the best attorney possible. Justice was done and now maybe all of these kids who were terrified of this ugly man can move on with their lives.
A special thanks to the detectives, the prosecuter (Jen Schorn) and the Judge.

@Nancy... Who cares about criminal psychology. Your defensiveness and "schooling" comes in the wrong arena. This guy should be burned at the stake....you get your story straight.

After a prison sentence exceeds any chance for a parole, why not victims' families and/or us, the abused taxpayers, the choice to terminate the inmate?
