Fatal Crash at Franklin Mills Claims Three Lives

The driver was a 20-year-old man from Bensalem.

 

A Bensalem driver and two teen passengers were killed in a violent one-vehicle crash that occurred at the Franklin Mills Mall on Wednesday at around 8 p.m., according to Philadelphia Police.

NBC10 reported that their vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it struck a curb and flipped.

Philadelphia police told Patch that the individuals killed were the driver Anthony Christiansen, 20, of the ; and two passengers Lucrecia Santamaria, 15, of Trenton, and Chistopher Alcalde, 17, of the 800 block of Brill Street, Philadelphia.

"It appears that the vehicle was traveling at a very high rate of speed just because of the damage to the vehicle and some of the gouge marks in the street and on the grass right before the vehicle flipped," Chief Inspector Scott Small told NBC10. "Three of the four tires were torn off the vehicle."
