Bensalem Battalion Chief Robert Sponheimer told Patch that firefighters were dispatched at 8:34 a.m.

"The fire was located in a second floor electrical room," he said.

According to Sponheimer, the fire was brought under control by8:46 a.m. and units remained on location until 9:50 to remove smoke from the section of the building that was effected.

"The cause of the fire was accidental in nature, it began when a contractor was using a torch to weld steel beams and the sparks from the torch ignited a section of wall and some other combustibles located in an the electrical room," Sponheimer explained.
