Fitzpatrick to Hold Town Hall Meeting
Event will take place Monday night at Bensalem High School
Congressman Michael Fitzpatrick will hold a town hall meeting Monday night at Bensalem High School.
The event will run from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The 8th District Republican congressman will be meeting with district students beforehand.
“The town hall is not limited to any topic. He will answer questions and discuss any topic constituents are interested in,” Darren Smith, Fitzpatrick's communications director, said Friday
Use of the high school was approved by the Bensalem school board at its March 9 meeting but not before president Heather Nicholas asked if any other politicians had ever been denied similar access.
Business director Jack Myers indicated that all applicants have been treated equally. He added that he does not see this as a political event.
“This more of an extension of our social studies curriculum in my mind,” he said.
The high school is located at 4319 Hulmeville Road.

Nice picture. It looks like a ghost picture, which is very appropriate since that is all that ever shows up at these meetings, a bunch of ghosts and ghost votes.
