Bensalem’s Krispy Kreme shop is offering a free original glazed doughnut Tuesday, Feb. 21 for all walk-in customers.
Some call it Doughnut Day. Others say Faschnaut Day or Fat Tuesday.
It's the day before the Christian Lent observance starts and a big day for doughnuts no matter what you call it.
Faschnaut Day is a Pennsylvania Dutch tradition for using up the lard, butter and sugar in your pantry before the Lenten fast.
Don’t forget to get yours.

I am just curious, where are the donuts actually made? Are they made on site in your Bensalem store? Or are they made some place else and you fill them cover them etc… at the Bensalem Store??
