On Saturday, April 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Bensalem police will be participating in a countywide effort to get unused and unwanted prescription pills out of the medicine cabinets and your homes.
Simply stop at the CVS located at either 3943 Hulmeville Road or 3811 Neshaminy Boulevard and drop off the pills.
According to a release, no questions will be asked about the deposits.
This program is part of the Drug Enforcement Administration's National Takeback Initiative.

Another brillant idea for wasting taxpayer money. I've seen posters at the police department for this program too. What is so hard about simply flushing them down the toilet? I think this is nothing more than "feel good" BS so people can think they are doing their part on the lost war on drugs. Instead we are gathering them all up in one place with little or no real accountability for what is there or who is in charge of securing them. Brillant.
