Hometown Popstar Christina Perri Plays at Tower Tonight

She’s opening for James Blunt.

PhillyBurbs.com has a great story about Christina Perri, the 24-year-old Bensalem native turned pop star who just finished a new album and is now on tour with James Blunt.

"Dude, it's so crazy. I haven't really stopped since July," she told PhillyBurbs in a telephone interview. "There are just as many challenging things a day as amazing, heartwarming things. But if I ever complain, I tell everyone I know to punch me in the face. This is the best dream-come-true stuff you could ever imagine."

The Archbishop Ryan High School graduate’s most recognizable song is “Jar of Hearts,” which was featured on Fox’s “So You Think You Can Dance” in June.

Christina Perri opens for James Blunt tonight at the Tower Theatre, located at 69th and Ludlow streets in Upper Darby. The show starts at 8 p.m. For ticket information call 800-745-3000 or www.livenation.com.

It was wonderful to see Christina perform.... you could just feel how humble she is during her show as she spoke to the audience between songs.. she had the whole audience sing happy birthday to her grandmom for her 80th birthday... wish her much success..
