I just called the police main line (215-633-3700) about five minutes ago, as well as others, and all we got was that there were shelters open at Pennsbury High School East, Council Rock North, and Palisades. I and others asked, if the one in Bensalem was open and was told NO!

Not sure Joyce. If you're not near one of the creeks and your neighborhood doesn't usually flood, you should be ok. But the strong winds could cause damage anywhere. Try to stay safe.

Just to let everyone know, Pennsbury High is allowing pets. Council Rock is not. And I'm not sure of the others.

All the areas around Salem Harbour are listed as evacuation zones, Is Salem Harbour a part of this evacuation? Also, how will we know to evacuate if that occurs and the power is out?

I'm pretty sure Council Rock North is the only shelter not allowing pets. The other two are. Joe Hart, you're doing a great job. Thanks for all the info :)
