This story does not make much sense.
1 Why would this man's girlfriend be in a drug infested area at this time of the night if she has children? looking for what? What mother if not on drugs is looking in a place as reported as drug infested after 2am. There is no bars or stores in that area why would she be in that section of bristol township?
2. “recreational” drug user and not an addict" are you serious? That is not recreational drug use on a monday night after 2am when he should getting ready for the next day of hard working labor. Who was watching the children?
Who's going to get the children up and fed when both parents are out looking for fun on a Monday night and He is with a 21 year old woman,
3. What is recreational drug use on a monday night and tuesday morning is a work day?
This is a drug user passing off phony money and died for it. He has been in Bloomsdale before, no one just drives through.

This is the county looking to charge someone with a crime he did not commit, A young black man, who you the Bucks County prosecutor Jennifer Schorn said. In an effort to compel some witnesses to speak, the case went to a grand jury.
It took her 6 years to compel or trick someone as a witness to such a sad crime. This is bucks county doing what it does best be racist. I am sadden by such lost for his mother I too am a mother and you will not convict my son of something he did not do. His family does deserve justice however you will not use my son to be re-elected. There are so many black youth out here in these streets that can't see what this world is about and they get caught up in these streets and the powers that be will take your lack of knowledge and use it against you. There is years and history of black murders unsolved in this section of the township and no-one has ever cared and no one ever will.

Bloomsdale is not the greatest neighborhood in America but every section in Lower Bucks County is crime ridden with drug dealers. If I ride through Golden Ridge, Kenwood, Indian Creek, Apple Tree , Red Cedar at the time Kevin the deceased mistakenly entered Bloomsdale for his recreational habit, it would be because I am having withdrawls from my chronic use of a drug known as crack cocaine Kevin was addicted to drugs! Stop trying to sugarcoat his addiction, darn anyone and everyone knew he was a junkie that was no secret to society.

Coming to score drugs in Bloomsdale or Blue Ridge at that time of the night was sucidal from the start but his addiction told him too get high and his baby momma was going through withdrawls also.
I am not saying his murder was justified, don't have a clue to how the murder happened except rumors , newspaper lies, and the television. To Kevin's parents I feel your loss. I have also lost a son to the system Araina, up until recently I almost lost him for a murder charge that was rigged by the local government. Kevin's parents I hope and plead with you that this case is really fully investigated not just pinned on someone because you needed answers and wanted someone brought to justice. You son needed help prior to his death, you choose to close your eyes and ears to his cry for help. Now as you sit at home holding your grandchilden, looking at his baby momma wishing that night would have never happened and the nightmare will end , waiting for Kevin to call you, walk through that door remember this Ckaron Handy is going to prison for something that was not of his doing, is that justifiable? will you sleep better sending the wrong person to prison?

I am not related to the accused, nor the murder victim I feel for both of you parents. Once our children reach eighteen they are responsible for their own actions. The choices that adults make are their choices not ours. It hurts pulls the life force out of you, losing a son whether by death or prison I see no difference most of the time neither person will ever be seen again or there is so much time between the both of you the bond is gone and you become strangers. I am going to pray for both of your families for healing, strength, and justice. Kevin's family all white's are not racist or bad people, all blacks are not drug dealers and bad people. so lets not walk in that darkness. The issue is a young man was killed and his murderer is still loose. Find Kevin's Killer and bring him to justice. Ckaron has alot of faults but murder is not one of them.

Hold up he thought he seen his baby momma in Bloomsdale as he road by on Green Lane, OMG unless you are looking thru the cameras that nobody monitors , you are unble to see Mustang and Airacobra Street. What 21 year old female friend at 2am in the morning would even let you look for your baby momma at two in the morning. Never mind I answered that earlier a junkie and crackhead, not a recreational user as Dave Heckler described in the article. Dont worry readers I will continue to leave comments so feel free to chime in and attempt to justify this lame excuse of why and how this young man was killed. Was it sucide ? was it self defense? is this just another pin this case on somebody so this family can leave us alone? Kevin's family stay on these investigators, its election time so this case was solved for votes not merit. Free the innocent , return the firing squad for the guilty ! What matters is that some piece of scum took you from this earth WAY before you should have left... and that SCUMBAG deserves to rot. I can only assume that our officers and DA did their that job and can prove that they have the right man in custody.... so HOPEFULLY he will be prosecuted and Kevin's family can have some sort of closure. Do you guys no 62,000 people die in the united states everyday..... There is crime in every part of the world. Upper class lower class and everywhere in between. People there are drugs everywhere more in the upper class just not talked about as much. And more open in the lower class. Bucks county is the biggest doping county in the entire state.. Moral of the story is people get shot people die random causes. Instead of wasting time on telling someone they got what they deserved or they should route in jail.
