Parx Owners Fined $22K by Gaming Control Board
Greenwood Gaming was fined by the PGCB for using a gaming system before it was approved and for allowing a drunk person to gamble.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board recently levied fines of $22,000 on the owners of Parx Casino.
According to a release, the fines were related to a Canadian table game manufacturer that distributed its EZ Track System for Baccarat prior to being licensed. The manufacturer was fined as well as other organizations involved.
Greenwood Gaming & Entertainment, Inc., operator of the Parx Casino in Bensalem, was fined $12,000 for entering into a contract and utilizing the EZ Track System before it was approved by the state.
Greenwood also received a $10,000 fine for failure to comply with its approved Compulsive and Problem Gambling Plan by allowing an intoxicated patron to gamble.
