Parx Tops State in Slots Again in August
Parx Casino had gross slot machine revenue of $31.48 million in August.
Parx Casino in Bensalem had the highest August slot machine revenue of all 11 Pennsylvania casinos. Its slots generated $31.48 million compared to the next highest at Sands Casino in Bethlehem, which generated $24.89 million.
Parx regularly leads the state in slots revenue.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported that August gross revenue at the 11 casinos was $210.6 million, a figure 5.7 percent higher than gross revenue from slots in August 2011.
Tax revenue to the Commonwealth this August totaled $113,558,137.

It doesn't surprise me one bit. I play at both Parx and Sands. I noticed Parx slots have become much tighter lately, which explains the increased revenues.
