Police Arrest Philly Man for 7-11 Robbery

Philadelphia police said Brien Boedeker robbed a 7-11 on Frankford Avenue, just down the street from Andalusia on Nov. 1.

 

 

On Nov. 15, Philadelphia police arrested a man from the Northeast for an armed robbery of a 7-11 store near the Bensalem border.

According to police, on Nov. 1 at 6:20 a.m. Brien Boedeker entered the convenience store in the 9900 block of Frankford Avenue. He asked for a pack of cigarettes and pulled a gun when the employee turned. He then demanded money. The 7-11 employee opened the cash register and placed the drawer on the counter. After taking $280 in cash from the drawer the offender fled the store.

On Nov. 14, Northeast detectives received additional information after Boedeker was seen in the area operating a 1996 Jeep on Frankford Avenue. After further investigation, he was identified as the 7-11 robbery suspect.

Boedeker, 33, of Deer Lane, Philadelphia, was charged with robbery and related offenses.
