Police Make Three Tuesday Arrests
Charges included an outstanding warrant, retail theft and indirect criminal contempt.
The following arrest information was provided by the Bensalem Township Police Department. It does not imply conviction.
On Tuesday, May 15, Bensalem police made the following arrests:
At 3 p.m., Sarah Wehry, 29, of the 100 block of Lavender Road, Ashland, was arrested in the 3900 block of Rockhill Drive, on an outstanding warrant out of North Cumberland County. She was sent to Bucks County Prison to await North Cumberland County Sheriffs.
At 4:25 p.m., Catherine Stepp, 48, of the 1100 block of E. Sanger Street, Philadelphia, was arrested in the 2300 block of Street Road and charged with retail theft. She will receive a summons.
At 5:50 p.m., Kimberly Marshall, 44, of the 6200 block of Lewisville Avenue, was arrested at his residence and charged with indirect criminal contempt. She was sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.

And this should be the first thing people read in the patch because? Joe, enough with what the Bensalem Police are doing. We need to encourage people to come to Bensalem not be scared. Bensalem has so much to offer and the Police are doing a great job.

I actually find what Bensalem Police are doing to be helpful & is one of the first articles I read on Patch. I have a 16-year old & it's good to know what's going on & crimes in our area since I don't subscribe to our local newspaper. Patch also does a great job of emphasizing what Bensalem has to offer.

I think the crime stats in the paper are important. Everyone hates Philly due to crime stats etc., so let the truth be told. Even so, a great deal of Bensalem crime is never reported anyway!

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I receive regular incident reports from Bensalem police and local State Police. I agree that it's important to inform the public about these police matters. I think its very productive because it proves we have a great police force. They are on top of their game. People should feel safe coming to Bensalem. Joe, your doing a great job with reporting both police activity and whats going on in the community.
