At 3:30 p.m., Bensalem police announced that they were on the scene of a serious accident at Street Road and Old Lincoln Highway.
According to Sgt. Andrew Aninsman, one person was confirmed in "very critical condition."
Police said traffic was being detoured in the area.

I was told about this from a Comcast employee, who was in the area. I am praying for all those involved, and that the person who is seriously hurt will be alright.

Actually, I was just informed that the person in critical condition died at the hospital. I was also told that a second passenger was decapitated at the scene. The young lady who died at the hospital was a friend of my son. I would really love it if what I heard was not true.

I was at the scene shortly after the accident. it was very disturbing and then 4 hours later i get home to find out my son was her friend and went through school together. prayers are with the families. a very sad time.

My son's best friend dated her through HS. Our sons probably know each other. The young man who had dated her said that the best friend of the victim says that she has passed. However, he keeps getting conflicting stories. One is that she was medivac to Jef. the other is that she is in the ICU. He simply was not sure about any of it including the other passenger. If anyone knows anything for sure, please post it.

I just read the paper. Danielle did die in the accident. The other person was just injured.
