Police Search for Diamond Ring Thief

A man asked to see an $8,500 diamond ring at Gordon’s Jewelers and ran off with it.

 

 

Bensalem police are asking for the public's help. They released surveillance video of a theft from a local jewelry store.

On Thursday, Aug. 2 at 2 p.m., a man entered Gordon’s Jewelers in the Neshaminy Mall. He was shown a 1K diamond engagement ring valued at $8,500. The male took possession of the ring and immediately fled outside the store and into the mall parking lot without paying. He was last seen running across Neshaminy Boulevard.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’10”, slim build, 20-30 years old, large circular holes in his earlobes, Mohawk haircut, some facial hair, and tattoos on his right arm. He was wearing a black Flyers hat, black Flyers t-shirt (#18 Richards on the back), white long sleeve shirt underneath the t-shirt and black basketball shorts.
