Police Search for Hit-and-Run Vehicle

Victim was struck by two vehicles and remains in critical condition.

 

On Jan. 9 just after 10 p.m., Bensalem police responded to 100 State Road for a pedestrian struck. 

The pedestrian, Brian Richter, 22, of Cottage Street in Philadelphia, had been struck by a blue 2010 Toyota Corolla operated by William White, 51, of Croydon.  

The victim was struck as he entered into the path of the on-coming vehicle. After Richter was struck, witnesses report that a a dark colored SUV struck the victim a second time and failed to stop.

Richter is listed in critical condition at Frankford-Aria Hospital.
