Seafood-Themed Restaurant Opens Wednesday

Marlin & Ray's brings seafood and sunsets to former site of Ruby Tuesday's.

The Marlin & Ray’s restaurant, which is replacing the Ruby Tuesday’s that closed in March, will open at 600 Rockhill Drive across from the Neshaminy Mall on Wednesday, May 16.

In April, a company spokesperson called the change a “conversion” explaining that the Marlin & Ray’s franchise is also owned and operated by Ruby Tuesday Inc.

This location will be the seafood-centric concept’s first location in Pennsylvania and10th total, with other locations in: Maryville, TN; Knoxville, TN; Manassas, VA; Acworth, GA; Lithonia, GA; Hilliard, OH; West Chester, OH; Fairfax, VA and Stafford, VA.

According to a release, the restaurant presents a casual, welcoming environment perfect for a wide variety of diners. Its menu’s focus will be on fresh seafood dishes and comfort food items done well and at an affordable price point. Menu highlights include:

  • Ray’s Famous Cheesy Shrimp Dip with endless chips
  • Fried Calamari served with a sweet chile sauce
  • Blackened Mango Tilapia
  • Shrimp Po’Boy
  • Gourmet Fish Tacos
  • Crab Legs
  • Peach Bourbon BBQ Ribs
  • Homemade Key Lime Pie

The beverage offerings are also beach-inspired, including adult slushies like the Island Daquiri with mango, strawberry, rum, peach schnapps and vodka; margaritas, martinis, beer cocktails and classic island cocktail favorites like the Long Island Ice Tea and Mai Tai.

Sounds exciting. Like Ruby Tuesday's a lot, but this will be a nice change.
