State Police Charge Sex Offender with Megan’s Law Violation

Trevose troopers picked up Michael Jospeh, a Megan’s Law registrant, for not telling police he moved.

 

 

On Nov. 27 at 12:50 p.m., state police arrested a Philadelphia sex offender at a motel in Trevose.

Troopers said Michael J. Joseph, 53, failed to notify state police of a change of address within 48 hours. Joseph is required to register under Megan’s Law.

He was taken into custody by the Bucks County Sheriff’s Department on a domestic relations warrant as well as a parole violation related to the Megan’s Law violation.

Joseph was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.

Trooper Joseph Schmidt investigated the incident.
