State Police: Drivers Lose Control and Crash on I-95

Police report two one-vehicle accidents

 

 

The following information was provided by the Pennsylvania State Police Trevose station and gaming control troopers stationed at Parx Casino. Trevose troopers responded to the following accidents:

On Nov. 11 at 1:29 a.m., state police responded to a one-vehicle crash on the ramp from Route 1 southbound to I-95 southbound in Middletown Township. The vehicle was merging onto the exit and failed to negotiate the right curve and left the roadway striking a tree. The vehicle needed to be towed from the scene. The driver, an 18-year-old from Fallsington, Nj, and the passenger, an 18-year-old woman from Yardley, were not injured.

On Nov. 11 at 1:38 p.m., state police responded to a one-vehicle crash on I-95 southbound at milepost 36.8 in Bensalem. Police said a vehicle was traveling at an unsafe speed and lost control leaving the roadway and striking a guiderail in the right shoulder and then in the left. The vehicle overturned and came to rest on its wheels in the median. Police said the operator refused medical treatment and the vehicle was towed. The driver was cited for traffic citations.
