On Nov. 13 at 9:20 a.m., state police responded to the 100 block of Green Street, Hulmeville for an attempted burglary.

According to the 22-year-old male victim, a suspect attempted to gain entry to his residence by opening the rear bedroom window where he was asleep.

The suspect fled the scene after a brief verbal encounter with the startled victim.
