Lower Southampton police report $375 in Target gift cards were taken from a Feasterville car dealership.
Colonial Nissan, at 117 Bustleton Pike in Feasterville, accepted a UPS delivery of 25, $15 Target gift cards on Dec. 7. On Dec. 8, they were missing.
Jeffrey Garfinkle, manager of the dealership, told police he had called Target to deactivate the cards, but was told that 19 of the cards had been already used in the Bensalem and Abington Target stores. Garfinkle suspected an employee was the culprit.
Garfnkle wanted the police report, he said, to forward to Target’s loss prevention. He also told police that he will look at his dealership’s surveillance video to identify the person who took the cards.
Garfinkle said he would not press charges against the employee who took the cards, but would fire him/her.
The preceding information was supplied by the Lower Southampton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
