The Duke Mitchell Turkey Bowl, which benefited cancer research, featured the Bucks County Broncos verse the Delaware Valley Eagles.

Duke Mitchell, a former Bensalem resident, passed away recently after a battle with lung cancer. When doctors diagnosed him 13-years-ago, they predicted he only had a few months to live.

Mitchell was a coach for several local football teams and previously coached the defence at Bensalem High School.

The Broncos won the Thanksgiving day game 28-8.
