Traffic Stop Leads to Fugitive Arrest

Newtown man was found to be wanted in Florida.

 

 

The following arrest information was provided by the Pennsylvania State Police Trevose station. It does not imply conviction.

On Wednesday, Aug. 8 at 2:22 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle on I-95 northbound at milepost 34.8 in Bensalem.

Police said an NCIC check revealed that the driver, Rashaun D. Moore, 37, of Newtown, was found to be wanted on an outstanding warrant in Florida. He was transported to the Trevose station for processing.

Moore was arraigned before Magisterial Court Judge Leonard Brown and committed to Bucks County Prison.

Trooper Craig Acord investigated the incident.
