Trevose Troopers Conduct Sobriety Checkpoint
Arrested four for DUI.
State police from the Trevose station scheduled sobriety checkpoints in Lower Bucks County from May 25 to May 30.
On Saturday, police said the checkpoints had yielded four DUI arrests and numerous summary traffic citations.
At sobriety checkpoints, police stop vehicles to briefly observe drivers for articulable facts and behaviors associated with alcohol and drug impaired drivers.
The goal of checkpoints is to reduce the number of alcohol and drug related fatal and serious crashes.
