Vineland Man Faces DUI Charges

The following arrest information was provided by the Pennsylvania State Police Trevose station. It does not imply conviction.

 

On Feb. 9 at 3:10 a.m., troopers from the Trevose station stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on I-95 northbound at Exit 40 in Bristol Township.

The driver, Derek A. Welch, 27, of Vineland, N.J., was given field sobriety tests and was found to be impaired.

He was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center for a blood test. He faces DUI charges pending the result.

Trooper Robert Richter investigated the incident with assistance by Trooper Kevin Lee.
