Where/when: 2203 2nd Street Pike, Newtown, PA 18940 (Wrightstown Township Municipal Building), Saturday at 9 a.m.
Why go: This market features more than 25 vendors offering seasonal, freshly harvested, organically and conventionally grown vegetables, herbs, flowers; preserved products; 100 percent grass-fed beef, pasture-raised poultry, lamb and pork; pastured, free range eggs; organic yogurt and cheeses; artisanal breads and homemade baked goods; handmade soaps and lotions; raw local honey and beeswax candles; locally grown and handmade fiber products; gluten free and vegan items; organic, fair trade, locally roasted coffees; organic, freshly ground nut butters; gourmet prepared foods and local handcrafts. Del Val Vietnam Veterans Flag Memorial
Where/when: Falls Township Community Park 9125 Millcreek Rd, Levittown, Saturday & Sunday
Why go: Come for a day of reflection and music to "Honor All Veterans of All Wars and the Sacrifices They Made." Saturday there will be a day of reflection and bands. Sunday, there will be a motorcycle rally at noon and a Memorial Service and Repatriation Ceremony at 1 p.m. Volunteers are needed Friday at 9 a.m. to help place flags (over 58,000) and Sunday after the ceremonies to remove flags, which will symbolize every U.S. soldier KIA or MIA.
