The 23rd Annual Civil War Re-enactment at Neshaminy State Park is the largest Civil War re-enactment outside of Gettysburg.  The re-enactment activities take place Saturday and Sunday, April 28 & 29 and admission and parking are free!  This is a great way to spend time with the family and also relive the history of the War Between the States.

The 23rd Annual Neshaminy Civil War Re-enactment will attract over 1,000 re-enactors, and will also feature artillery fire, horse-mounted cavalry, and of course infantry foot soldiers. Also on display will be authentic civil war camps and re-creations of daily life for soldiers of the civil war.

This year's theme is the Spring 1862 Campaign - 1st Kernestown and 1st Winchester battles.  These two battles were fought in in the spring of 1862 at the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.  For more info on the battles go to: www.neshaminycwevent.org.
