"Everybody wants to go to heaven, but nobody wants to die to get there"...

After reviewing many responses to the questions posed by Patch, "What is on your Bensalem Wish List? What is one thing you would improve in 2013?"

Some of the suggestions have absolute merit, why others are simply either untrue or ridiculous. Bensalem is a great place to live and work. Instead of posting a comment, why not make an appointment to speak with Mayor DiGirolamo about issues?

It would provide you with more satisfaction to know the genesis of a stated project or perhaps the perception of a lack of action. To make an appointment call 215-633-3631 and I wish you all a Happy New Year!

Good for you Dawn, the association I run has no political affiliation and yet I have met with our Mayor every year since I started it. I have never had a problem getting in touch with him to talk about my own business (Philadelphia Private Gym) or because of something happening where I live Andalusia or anything involving our association (Bensalem Business Association). I have also had no problems getting in touch with Matt Takita who runs the building and planning in Bensalem or Fred Harran who runs police, fire and emts in Bensalem. But it is alway easy for people to complain about something rather then take time out of there day to address there concerns with the right person. This social media gives anyone who can type a voice, but sometimes it might not be the right.
