DESCRIPTION:Family Connections Genealogy Group is pleased to announce tha
 t they  will be offering genealogy classes at the Bensalem branch of the
  Bucks  County Free Library.&nbsp\; The series of three one-hour classes
  will begin on  May 9\, 2012.&nbsp\; The tuition is $20 per class or $35
  for the two presented  each evening.&nbsp\;&nbsp\; With your laptop and
  a library card\, we will show you a  wealth of information available on
 line to family researchers.&nbsp\; There  will also be time to collabora
 te on your own family line. The topics  covered in the Spring/Summer Ses
 sions will be:\nMay 9\, 2012 Family Connections/Get Started We will be  
 using five basic steps to start you on your way to making family  connec
 tions.&nbsp\; We will examine forms and record keeping.&nbsp\; We will a
 lso  discuss ways to preserve family artifacts that you may discover on 
 your  search.\nMay 9\, 2012&nbsp\; Census Records\nWe will be showing ho
 w to use the census records to find your ancestors from 1790 through 194
 0.\nJune 13\, 2012 Military Records\nMilitary Records may offer a vast i
 nsight into your families past.&nbsp\;  Finding a veteran ancestor may p
 rovide knowledge about the generations  that came before.&nbsp\; Correct
 ly documenting an ancestor&rsquo\;s military record  may create a feelin
 g of patriotism and belonging in our American  History.\nJune 13\, 2012 
 Vital Records/Church Records\nThese  records provide a wealth of informa
 tion about ancestors births\, deaths\,  marriages and family members.&nb
 sp\; We will be investigating the information  available to trace your l
 ine.\nJuly 11\, 2012 Immigrant Ancestors\nWe will be examining records i
 n America to trace your ancestors to  their homeland.&nbsp\; With this i
 nformation\, we will examine records  available across the seas.&nbsp\;&
 nbsp\;&nbsp\; If you contact us ahead of time\, we will  try to provide 
 resources in the countries where you are searching.\nJuly 11\, 2012 Iris
 h Ancestors\nThis session will focus on the two waves of Irish immigrati
 on.&nbsp\; The Scotch-Irish before 1776 and the Famine Irish around and 
 after 1840.\n&nbsp\;\nThe Bensalem Library is located at 3700 Hulmeville
