David Rivera will be teaching a four day painting workshop
entitled “Secret Techniques of the Old Masters” at the Bucks County Classical Arts Center and Atelier, running January26^th through February 16^th.  The workshop will cover various painting techniques ranging from the
early Renaissance up to the late 19^th Century. A lecture on
historical artists and their specific methods will be given, along with valuable exercises on ground preparation, under-painting, color mixing, and glazing. This is a great opportunity to learn how to paint like the old
masters!

David Rivera is a Bucks County artist who has devoted his life to the study of classical art.  He holds a BFA
from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art and a Masters from the New York Academy of Figurative Art.  Examples of his work can be found at www.dcrartcommissions.com.
