More About Congregation Tifereth Israel
Congregation Tifereth Israel is a conservative synagogue offering a place of worhsip and education for its members. Jeffrey Schnitzer it the rabbi. Hebrew school and educational services are offered here for children ages 5 to 13. Classes are held once a week until the third grade and twice a week thereafter. Bar and bat mitzvah ceremonies are offered as part of the educational program.
