Bensalem to Consider Curriculum Changes, Halloween Scares, Treats Abound

See what's happening in Bensalem on Wednesday.

  • The Bensalem Township School Board will meet on Wednesday as a full committee to discuss curriculum modifications under consideration for next school year. The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Dorothy D. Call Administrative Center, 3000 Donallen Dr., Bensalem. 
  • Joe Conklin’s comedy night is slated for Wednesday from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Parx Casino, 2999 Street Road in Bensalem. 
  • Time is running out to visit Valley of Fear's haunted hayride and woods. The local Halloween attraction situated at the Phoenix Sport Club, 301 W. Bristol Road in Feasterville, is open from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. every night through this weekend. 
  • The Bensalem Library, 3700 Hulmeville Road, is hosting an evening play group for families with babies and toddlers on Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. 
  • If your taste buds prefer sweet–over scary–Halloween treats, grab a handful of candy corn in honor of National Candy Corn Day on Wednesday. Nowadays the sugary candy comes in a variety of flavors, including caramel and Starburst fruity.
