Comedy Night, School Board Meets, TV Show Host Day

The Bensalem School Board on Wednesday is expected to appoint a new facilities manager to replace Robert Moseley, who was charged earlier this year in connection with an alleged conspiracy involving the theft of $1.5 million from the district.

  • Parx Casino, 2999 Street Road, will host Conklin’s Comedy Night on Wednesday from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. 
  • The Bensalem Township School Board meets Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the district administration office, 3000 Donallen Dr. in Bensalem. The board is expected to hear a presentation on its comprehensive plan from 2013-2017. Also on the agenda is an appointment for the position of Manager of Facilities. The district's last facilities manager was arrested and charged with misapplication of entrusted property for his alleged role in a conspiracy said to have cost the district $1.5 million. 
  • Wednesday would be Johnny Carson's 88th birthday. In honor of the late night TV great, Wednesday is also TV Talk Show Host Day.
