Playmasters Stage Murder Mystery, Raise a Glass to 'Repeal Day'

See what's happening in Bensalem on Thursday.

  • The Playmasters will offer a showing of "Let's Murder Marsha," by Monk Ferris on Thursday at 8 p.m. The theater is located on State Road (adjacent to Neshaminy State Park) in Bensalem.

  • Dr. Janos Tanyi, MD, PhD, of the University of Pennsylvania Abramson’s Cancer Center’s Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine and Principal Investigator, will discuss how a new two-step personalized cancer vaccine can kill cancer cells. The talk will be held on Thursday at Gilda’s Club Delaware Valley, 200 Kirk Road, Warminster, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Click here for more.

  • Here's something to drink to: Thursday is Repeal Day, as in the date commemorating the end of prohibition. Congress passed the 21st amendment, effectively repealing the 18th amendment on Dec. 5, 1933.
