School's Out, Try for a Jackpot, Bake Angel Food Cake

  • Bensalem schools will be closed on Thursday for a professional development day.        
  • Parx Casino is offering a $5,000 weekly blackjack tournaments Thursday at noon. Free entry for all XClub card holders. First place is $2,500 cash, second-sixth places $500 cash each. Parx will host its weekend warm-up party from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Thursday.                                               
  • YWCA Bucks County's 21st annual Breakfast with Friends fundraiser will be held Thursday at 7:30 a.m. at Spring Mill Manor, 171 Jacksonville Road in Ivyland.
