Oxford Valley Mall Brings Books to Life Through Simon Kidgits Club Book Blast Event

Oxford Valley Mall is welcoming families to experience the magic of reading at the shopping center on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. in the Sears Court during the mall’s annual free Simon Kidgits Book Blast event.

Event activities will kick-off with an exciting live reading of popular stories and a surprise visit from Curious George, a popular character from children’s books.

“Because Oxford Valley Mall is a destination for families and friends to do more than just shop, Simon Kidgits Club is giving children the chance to experience all that books have to offer in a social setting,” said Jim Malervy, Director of Mall Marketing. “We’re combining education with fun and allowing kids to simply have a blast with reading.”
