You could stand on a corner and look around until a restaurant sign draws you in. But we've got a better idea. Each week, Bensalem Patch picks a great restaurant either in town or nearby that is worth checking out.

SAKURA – In the mood for sushi? There’s a great local place that makes it fresh and at a great price. Japanese Restaurant has a full menu of your favorites on a half-price menu that’s good all day, every day. There are literally dozens of selections. When I went last week, I got three rolls and some hot tea for like $13. I got two of my old standards, the Philadelphia and Spicy Crab rolls, and tried a new one, the Bensalem Roll with seared tuna, jalapeno and cucumber. That one is now among my favorites. The staff is also very friendly. You should check it out.

Sakura is located at 1973 Street Road near Hulmeville Road. It’s open Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday-Saturday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; and Sunday, noon-10 p.m. BYOB.
