Bucks Retailer Sells $250,000 Mega Millions Ticket

Winners have one year to claim the prize.

A Mega Millions® ticket worth $250,000 in the Sept. 17 drawing was purchased at Country Farms on Old York Road in Warminster, according to a release issued by the Pennsylvania Lottery.

The store owner will receive a $500 bonus for selling a winning ticket.

The winning ticket—and a second purchased in Chester County—correctly matched all five white balls, 06-15-27-31-39, but not the yellow Mega Ball 25, to win individual prizes of $250,000, less 25 percent federal withholding, it said.

Lottery officials said they cannot confirm the winner until the prize is claimed. Winners have one year in which to claim a prize.

To make a claim, officials say you should:

  • Sign the back of the ticket
  • Call the Lottery at 717-702-8146
  • File a claim at any of Lottery’s seven area offices or at Lottery headquarters in Middletown, Dauphin County
  • Claims may be filed 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at area offices and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at headquarters.
