Rumor has it that the sun may make an appearance this weekend. So put away your umbrellas and rainboots from last weekend and get ready to head out on the town.

MIDDLETOWN GRANGE FAIR 

Where/When: Middletown Grange #684 Fairgrounds (684 Penns Park Rd, Newtown), Friday and Saturday from 10am - 11pm, Sunday from 10am -5pm. 

Why Go: Livestock, live music, and lots of fun for the whole family. Check out the entertainment line-up.

Pricing: $10 a carload. Sunday it’s only $5 and vets are free.

 

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP COMMUNITY DAY

Where/When: Bristol Township Municipal Grounds (2501 Bath Road), Saturday from 4pm - 9pm. 

Why Go: Water slides, petting zoo, face painting, a home run derby, and fireworks at dusk. 

Pricing: Free.

 

OPEN HEARTH COOKING - 17th Century Summer

Where/When: Pennsbury Manor, Sunday from 1pm - 4pm.

Why Go: See what the colonists did with summer squash. 

Pricing: $7. 

 

SPLENDID SPIDERS 

Where/When: Churchville Nature Center, Sunday at 2pm. 

Why Go: Love ‘em or hate ‘em? There will be a slide presentation and then you’ll head out into the wild to see some of the real thing. 

 Pricing: $2.

 

BRUCE MOWDAY - AUTHOR SIGNING 

Where/When: Saturday at 1pm. 

 Why Go: The author presents his book Why The Hall Not? And The Amazing Journey to Cooperstown, the story of beloved Philly and broadcaster Richie Ashburn. 

Pricing: Free.
