Mourners Build Roadside Memorial for Bensalem Teens

The community continues to mourn the loss of Daniel Tadrzynski and Perry Krewson, who drowned in the Neshaminy Creek last week.

Candles, flowers, messages and more have been placed on Bristol Road, in front of the Trevose Neshaminy Falls fire station, not far from where the bodies of Perry Krewson and Tadrzynski were recovered from the Neshaminy Creek after three days of searching.

The roadside memorial also includes a t-shirt from Ryan Wagner's Martial Arts & Fitness, where Tadrzynski, a third-degree black belt, was an instructor for two years. A camouflage hat has been nailed to a telephone pole, signifying Krewson's devotion to the military. Krewson was scheduled to leave for basic training with the U.S. Marine Corps. the week he died.

Tadrzynski and Krewson jumped into the Neshaminy Creek at approximately 11 p.m. on July 23. They were quickly engulfed by rough, churning waters. Rescue crews from Bensalem, Trevose, and neighboring communities aided in the recovery.

Tadrzynski was found at approximately 11:40 a.m. July 25, and Krewson was found nine hours later, ending the search efforts.

Funeral arrangements for both have been made. Relatives and friends of Tadrzynski are invited from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, at Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike in Bensalem and again from 9 to 11 a.m. on Thursday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 1200 Park Avenue in Bensalem, followed by a funeral memorial mass at 11 a.m.

Relatives and friends of Krewson are invited to gather on Friday 5-7 p.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church, 9601 Frankford Ave. in Philadelphia. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to Bensalem High School, M.C.J.R.O.T.C. 4319 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020 in his memory.
