Tri-Hampton Rescue Squad Says Window Clings Help Find Pets in an Emergency

Tri-Hampton Rescue Squad reminds residents that in the event of an emergency, it's helpful if first responders know that pets also live in a home. 

On the squad's Facebook page, it suggests using a window cling issued by Red Paws Emergency Relief Team.

The group responds to pet emergencies, says Founder Jen Leary.The stickers are $5 each and can be purchased on the group's website.

One caution, though, says Sgt. Matthew Brower of Tri-Hampton Rescue. 
"If you're moving, be sure to remove the pet sticker," Brower says, to eliminate confusion in an emergency.
