Billy Joel Cover Band Entertains Bensalem

This week’s concert at featured Big Shot, a Billy Joel tribute band.

The band’s been together for about a decade and it’s lead by Mike DelGuidice, who plays keyboards and sings just like the real Piano Man.

The band was running a little late for the concert due to an accident on I-95, but that didn’t stop them from giving the crowd a great show. DelGuidice banged out Joel hits including New York State of Mind, The Entertainer and Big Man on Mulberry Street.

This was the Amphitheater’s second to last show of the season. Next week a Credence Clearwater Revival cover band will close the season.

The next event after that will be Bensalem’s all-day Fall Festival on Oct. 1 featuring an evening concert and fireworks.
