BANG YOUR HEAD, FIGHT HUNGER

AUTHOR DISCUSSES NEW CONTINENTAL-ERA BOOK

Where/when: Historic Moland House, 1641 Old York Rd, Hartsville, Saturday at 1 p.m.

Why go: Author John Nagy Discusses His New Book, "Spies in the Continental Capital" which covers the critical role of British, French, and American intelligence operations in Philadelphia and colonial Pennsylvania.

Cost:  $5 WILLY WONKA ON STAGE

Where/when: Eugene Klinger Middle School, 1415 2nd Street Pike, Southampton, Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Why go: Sing along with the Oompa Loompas and savor the flavor of an everlasting gobstopper!

CONCERT BENEFITS STRONG KIDS

Where/when: Keith Valley Middle School, 227 Meetinghouse Rd, Horsham, Sunday at 2 p.m.

Why go: Enjoy the music of Casual Badger and a guest appearance by Halestorm bassist Josh Smith at a concert that will benefit the Hatboro Area YMCA Strong Kids Campaign.

Cost: $5

KARAOKE

Where/when: Bethayres Tavern, 2231 Huntingdon Pike, Huntingdon Valley, starting Friday at 9 p.m.

Why go: Select one of your favorite songs and sing your heart out.

Cost: Free

THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE

Where/when: Poquessing Middle School, 300 Heights Ln, Feasterville Trevose, Thursday, Friday & Saturday at 7 p.m.

Why go: Relive the Roaring Twenties!

Cost: $6 for general admission, $8 for reserved seating

SUNDAY STROLL

Where/when: Silver Lake Nature Center, 1306 Bath Rd, Bristol, Sunday at 2 p.m.

Why go: Come for a stroll with one of the center’s naturalists.

Cost: Free

FIND A SUMMER CAMP

Where/when: Newtown Athletic Center, 209 Penns Trl, Newtown, Saturday starting at 11:30 a.m.

Why go: Camp counselors and directors will be on hand to answer questions and play games involving their camps. Parents can see the facilities where Camp NAC is held. There will also be prizes, including chances to win a free week of camp.

CHAMBER MUSIC FESTIVAL

Where/when: Bucks County Community College Newtown Campus275 Swamp Rd, Newtown, Saturday at 8 p.m.

Why go: The Youth Orchestra of Bucks County will present a concert in the Music & Multimedia Building featuring six chamber ensembles - Flute Choir, Percussion Ensemble, Clarinet Ensemble, Chamber Flute Ensemble, Woodwind Quintet, and the Honors String Quartet.

Cost: $6
