A beautiful fall weekend is on tap and there are plenty of choices when it comes to getting out and enjoying it. Here are some of our favorite picks.

Why Go: Steamroller Picnic is the ultimate rock & dance party. They have a long prestigious history in the East Coast band-scene, and consistently impress crowds from Vermont to Virginia. Good times and good music is what it is all about!

Where/When: Saturday, 8 a.m. – 11 a.m., Central Bucks East High School, 2804 Holicong Rd, Doylestown

Why go: Get some good food and support CB East football

Cost: $5

Where/When: 263 Marketplace, 700 York Rd, Warminster, PA

Why go:  Check out this car club’s awesome show, strolling down memory lane with some truly classic cars.

Cost: Free

Where/when: Saturday, 11 a.m. Ferderbar Elementary School 300 Heights Ln, Feasterville 

Why go: This is one of the PTO’s biggest fundraisers and includes games,  food, crafts, vendors, bake sale, our famous basket raffles, prizes and much more!

Cost: It’s a fundraiser!

Where/when: Three Arches, 335 Trenton Rd, Fairless Hills, Friday 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Why go: Just in time for Halloween, we hope to speak with the departed through one of the area’s most well known medium’s. Light refreshments will be served under the tent as you wait to have your questions answered. Please dress for the occasion, as we will be outdoors for up to two hours.

Cost: $35

Where/when: Saturday, 7:30 p.m. at the Newtown campus of Bucks County Community College in the Presser Music Room in the Music & Multimedia Center.

Why go: The concert will feature the music of Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen, along with the poetry of Walt Whitman, Eugene Howard, and others. BCCC Professor David Brahinsky, vocals and guitar; Guy DeRosa, mouth-organs; Phil McCauliffe, bass; and Kai Altair, Nalani Bolton, and Sarina Bolton, vocals. 

Cost: Free

Where/when: Saturday, around 6 p.m. at Tamanend Park in Upper Southampton

Why go: See Errol Flynn in “Captain Blood” under the stars.
