Bus Schedules Released Next Week

The school bags and supplies are being gathered, the new fall wardrobe is getting picked out, but there is still some important pieces of information parents need before the kids go back to school on Sept. 3.

The Bensalem Township School District will begin mailing out bus route details and classroom assignments next week, according to a release posted on the district website. The schedule is the following:

• Post cards with transportation information for non-public and parochial students will be mailed Aug. 20.
• Post cards with transportation information for public school students will be maile Aug. 27. Class assignments for elementary students will also be noted on the cards. Walkers will also receive a post card with class assignments.
• Class lists and homeroom assignments will not be posted on the doors of the schools.
• Individual schedules for Shafer Middle School students will be mailed on August 27.
• Snyder Middle School and Bensalem High School students will receive their schedules on the first day of school.
