What's the Worst Part About Going Back to School in Bensalem

The first day of school is just a few weeks away. What's the toughest part about getting your kids ready to go back?

We've reached that part of the summer when parents switch from being happy to have the kids home to enjoy the vacation together, to being anxious to get them out of the house.

Of course, it's not a simple matter of sticking them on the bus and waving goodbye. There's some preparation that comes with the first day of school.

The readers on the Bensalem Patch Facebook page told us what they dread most about going back to school. Here's what they had to say:

Francine Smith-Williams: "Knowing how much money I'm going to have to spend for my growing 16 year old son ... lol"

Phillip Mauro: "...Waiting the whole summer"

Mary Beth Kenny-Palestini: "Preparation................UGH"

Amy Tafil Coyle: "The depressing thought of summer ending"

George Skelton: "I'm school clothes and school supplies"

Karen Nehren: "Dealing with the teachers, yet again. I'm teachered out  30 years of this and no end in site."

Renee Stuber: "Getting up on time."
