MECHANICSVILLE ROAD IN BENSALEM TO CLOSE STARTING JUNE 3

Mechanicsville Road, between Galloway Road and Byberry Road in Bensalem Township, Bucks County will be closed starting Monday, June 3 through Monday, June 24 for PECO utility work.

The closure is necessary to perform electric utility work in advance of the planned detour scheduled June 24 for the Richlieu Road bridge replacement, which is a component of the PA Turnpike / I-95 Interchange Project.

Eastbound and westbound traffic on Mechanicsville Road (between Byberry Road and Galloway Road) will be detoured onto Byberry Road, Knights Road, and Galloway Road.

Mechanicsville Road, between Hulmeville Road and Galloway Road will be closed and portions of Hulmeville Road will be partially closed later this summer for ongoing utility work. The effective dates will be announced separately.
